Alamri out as head of Iraq’s oil sales

Iraq's longtime head of oil sales, Falah Alamri, has been transitioned from director general of the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO) to advisor to the Oil Ministry.
Alaa al-Yassiri, acting director general of the economic and investment directorate at the ministry since February and a former deputy director general in charge of finance at SOMO, has been named as acting chief of SOMO, according to two ministerial orders issued Sunday by Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luiebi.
