UPDATE: Exports up but revenues drop in July

After a two-month decline, federal oil export levels rebounded, but overall revenues fell along with global oil prices.

UPDATE:

The Oil Ministry has published revised export and revenue figures for July. This story has been updated accordingly.

Iraq ended a two-month decline in federal oil exports in July, though rising sales were not enough to offset a drop in oil prices.

The Oil Ministry released preliminary July data on Aug. 1 and published its official declaration of exports and revenues on Aug. 24.* Its figures do not include exports managed independently by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), which typically releases its own data in the first week of the month.
