BASRA - Suicide bombers killed at least 10 people in Basra and Dhi Qar on Monday, as the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) showed its determination - despite recent battlefield losses - to strike Iraq's oil heartland.
IS militants also carried out a suicide bombing and a deadly mortar attack in Baghdad, killing at least five people, a senior Interior Ministry official said, as well as attacks in Anbar province.
