BASRA - One worker was killed and four others suffered life-threatening burns when a pipeline exploded Wednesday at the Najibiyah power plant in Basra.
"The gas pipeline exploded during testing and maintenance operations on the gas system," said Mohammed Qasim, a senior staff member at the facility.
