AT&T has communications services available* to customers in more than 190 countries and territories, which represents 99 percent of the world’s economy. Now, we are open for business in Iraq. Earlier today, AT&T announced that we’re providing access to global communications services to multinational companies in Iraq. We also opened an office this year in “Energy City” in Basra, Iraq. We are grateful to the several Iraqi authorities for their support of AT&T’s market presence!

For our global business customers in the energy sector, Iraq has become one of their main areas of expansion. Iraq attracts businesses with unique communication needs. Connecting multinational businesses in Iraq poses challenges but also tremendous opportunities. Now we can better connect our customers doing business in Iraq and provide highly secure access to their critical applications.
