Acting Kirkuk oil chief replaced
The acting head of the Iraqi state's North Oil Company had been in office since January.

KIRKUK - Mohammed Salim Mohammed, the deputy director general for production affairs at the state-run North Oil Company (NOC), has been given director general duties, according to an April 29 ministerial order.
Bashir Murad had been serving as a deputy director general with director general duties since January, following the mandatory retirement of veteran Director General Farid Jadir, and will return to a position in charge of Ninewa province fields.
