Baghdad-KRG oil case delayed yet again
Dissatisfied with the work of three technical experts tasked with providing analysis, the Supreme Court postpones the six-year-old lawsuit until Dec. 9.

BAGHDAD - Iraq’s Federal Supreme Court issued yet another postponement in a seminal case regarding the autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) independent oil policy.
The legal proceedings could help adjudicate a fundamental controversy about how to draw the lines of authority over Iraq's oil sector, but they have been marred by delays since 2012 - a symptom of the intractable, high-stakes political disputes at the heart of the case.
