Awakening councils decry weapons seizures
BAQUBA - The Diyala province's Awakening councils - state-sponsored militia forces that have been key in combating terrorism - have strongly criticized Iraqi law enforcement for disarming them at a time when a resurgent al-Qaida is raising the threat of attacks in the province.
