Nationwide oil production fell by more than 3 percent in December to 4.54 million barrels per day (bpd), according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data gathered from each field* – the lowest monthly average posted by Iraq in 2019.
Output fell primarily because of temporary outages at Rumaila, the country's highest-producing field, where production dropped by about 300,000 bpd for several days early in the month.
