Erbil bombing suspect arrested
With a suspect in custody, Kurdistan security council says car bomb was detonated remotely.

ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) security forces have arrested a suspect in Friday’s bombing near the U.S. consulate in the Erbil suburb of Ainkawa.
“We are pleased to announce the arrest of the main perpetrator of the car bomb attack in the Ainkawa area of Erbil,” said a Monday statement from the Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC), an umbrella security organization reporting to the region’s president.
