BAGHDAD - Less than a week after being told she would have to pay more than a quarter million dollars to continue her challenge to the country's first major oil deal with international oil companies, ex-Member of Parliament Sheda al-Musawi is confident high-placed politicos will back her.
"Of course, I'm going to pay, to continue and proceed in my lawsuit," Musawi said in a telephone interview from her home in Erbil. She has until June 27 to pay the money.
