BAGHDAD - IS fighters are continuing to launch attacks on the strategically important town of al-Baghdadi, in Anbar province, days after pro-government forces reasserted control of the area.

Six suicide bombers raided the town on Friday, according to Abu Abdul-Rahman al-Obaidi, a resident of al-Baghdadi and a member of the Obaidi tribe, which has fought to defend the town from IS militants.
