Iraq oil refineries eye upgrades as exports slip
Iraq's Cabinet has approved a multimillion dollar contract to upgrade an oil refinery in southern Iraq, The Associated Press reported. The tender for the western Akkas field, which has 7 trillion cubic feet of gas, involves the upgrade of four horizontal-producing wells using one rig.
