Iraq prepares for OPEC quota fight
As OPEC members pressure the group's second-largest member to limit production, Iraq's oil leaders lay out the framework for their stern counter-arguments.

BAGHDAD - Gearing up for a tough confrontation with OPEC next month, Iraq says it won't cut oil production and if OPEC wants to impose production limits, it will only agree to a freeze at its official September levels.
Senior Iraqi Oil Ministry officials offered what is likely a preview of the arguments they will present at OPEC's next meeting on Nov. 30 to energy reporters at an invite-only conference in Baghdad on Sunday and Monday, providing detailed production figures and spelling out the factors that prevent Iraq from reducing output.
