The Iraqi Cabinet held its regular meeting in Baghdad, on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and released a decision to request that Thursday, July 4, 2013 is the date for provincial elections in districts and areas in the provinces of Anbar and Nineveh, and in case the security situation improved then the aforementioned date may be reconsidered.
