The Cabinet held a meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Thamir al-Ghadhban.
The Council of Ministers agreed that the finance ministry should urgently release the necessary funds to the health ministry and provinces within two days, enabling them to deal with the Coronavirus and to make the necessary actions to prevent its spreading, and to exclude health ministry and the provinces from the regulations of contracts implementation of year 2014 as far as it relates to anti-virus efforts.
