Iraq's Cabinet held its first regular session in Baghdad on Tuesday, January 07, 2014. Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, the Cabinet discussed the situation in Anbar province and regions that see confrontations with terrorists and groups cooperating with them. The Cabinet conveys it congratulations and blessings for our brave army on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of founding the Iraqi Army, to renew support for the armed forces and all the courageous security services for sacrifices they offered in defending our homeland and citizens and preserved their security and dignity, and the Cabinet commends the role of Iraqi tribes in Anbar province and regions, backed by our armed forces, in their clashes with terrorists, calling for the continuation of this support and cohesion among the troops, tribes and the people of Anbar to eliminate terrorists and ISIS and whoever followed their footsteps and to cleanse the land of Iraq of them.
