The Cabinet held a meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Thamir al-Ghadhban.
The session was devoted to discuss the coronavirus, where the council hosted the Diwaniya Commission (55 of 2020). The Council discussed ways to counter the coronavirus in Iraq, taking the necessary precautions to reduce its risk, in the presence of governors from several provinces on the borders and World Health Organization representative to Iraq.
