Iraqi crude production and exports increased in January as the country's largest oil field recovered from fuel shortages that had taken dozens of wells offline.

Oil output at fields managed by the federal Oil Ministry averaged 4.40 million barrels per day (bpd) in January, according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data gathered independently from producing fields, up from 4.16 million bpd in December.
