January production rises, but OPEC constraints loom
Crude output remains well below capacity as the Oil Ministry continues to curtail state-operated fields.

Iraq's oil production rebounded in January, as the country's largest oil field, Rumaila, ramped back up to full output levels after a brief, partial outage the previous month.
The federal government and the semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) produced a combined 4.66 million barrels per day (bpd), up from 4.54 million bpd in December 2019, according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on data collected from each of the country's producing fields.
