Kurdistan gas pipeline repaired after explosion
A key gas pipeline has been repaired after a Jan. 29 explosion temporarily cut off natural gas flows necessary for generating about half of Kurdistan's electricity.

ERBIL - A key gas pipeline has been repaired after a Jan. 29 explosion temporarily cut off natural gas flows necessary for generating about half of Kurdistan's electricity.
The flow of gas from the Khor Mor field to the Erbil power plant has now resumed at full capacity, according to two industry officials familiar with the status of the pipeline and operations at the field.
