New committee for oil law

BAGHDAD - Parliament has appointed a new committee to take a large first step toward passing long-delayed oil legislation.
The six-member panel will review the three different versions of oil legislation that have been drafted since 2007, and decide which one the Parliament will use as the starting point for an upcoming debate over how to structure the oil sector.
