Oil sales from Iraq, including the autonomous Kurdistan region, averaged 4.007 million barrels per day (bpd)* in July, up from 3.946 million bpd in June and getting close again to the record 4.159 million bpd exported last December.

July appeared to be a stellar month all around: loadings from terminals in both the Basra Gulf, where nearly all of federal Iraq's crude is shipped, and the Turkish port of Ceyhan increased month-on-month.
