Oil official killed in Kirkuk

Assassination marks first killing of senior North Oil Company official since spate of murders last year.

KIRKUK - A senior North Oil Company (NOC) official and son to a former deputy prime minister was killed in Kirkuk Monday.

The name of the victim and details of the attack were confirmed by a senior Kirkuk security official and a senior NOC official.
