Pro-government forces take burning oil field
Hamrin set on fire as militants flee, though IS still controls Ajil, as various Iraqi forces close in around Tikrit.

KIRKUK - A coalition including the Iraqi Army and Shia militias retook the Hamrin oil field from the so-called Islamic State (IS) group, which has controlled the field and surrounding territory for the past nine months.
The militants bombed wells at Hamrin as they were retreating. They did not bomb the nearby Ajil field, as some media reports have said.
