LONDON - The most prolific oil company in Kurdistan is not Genel Energy, DNO, or the behemoth ExxonMobil, but the Iraqi-Kurdish company KAR Group.
Under the leadership of its President and CEO, Baz Karim, KAR has tackled projects all along the value chain of the Kurdish oil sector. The company is now responsible for roughly half of the Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) oil production, the majority of its refining, and the pipelines that pump oil exports to Turkey.
