BASRA - Iraq's oil sector is on edge as protesters continue to threaten to disrupt operations at major fields in Basra.
Demonstrations have re-gained momentum this week, especially at the West Qurna 1 and West Qurna 2 fields. On Wednesday at those sites - which account for about one-fifth of Iraq's production - protesters temporarily shut down access roads, according to both protesters and security forces.
