The Hawija offensive is nearly complete, causing some Iraqi leaders to declare victory - but there is still fighting to be done.

Iraqi security forces are continuing to battle militants from the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) in the Hawija district of Kirkuk province.
The final stage of the offensive is close enough to completion that Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi declared Hawija to be liberated Thursday in a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
