Senior pipeline official killed in Kirkuk
Two senior northern oil officials have now been assassinated since late June.

KIRKUK - Saad Ali Hussein al-Bayati, the head of the Iraqi Oil Pipelines Company northern division and a member of the North Oil Company (NOC) board, was assassinated on Monday near the Kirkuk oil storage facility.
Two senior NOC officials, a senior Interior Ministry official and Kirkuk Police Chief Sarhad Qadir confirmed the killing.
