Iraq's oil production dropped by 150,000 bpd from August to September, according to an Iraq Oil Report analysis based on output data gathered independently from the country's producing fields. *
The cuts reflect the Oil Ministry's efforts to respond to pressure from the OPEC-plus coalition of oil-producing countries, which has called on Iraq to improve compliance with quota agreements and make extra reductions to compensate for past over-production.
