Shahristani going to Mecca instead of Parliament – UPDATE

Oil Minister coming off week of oil deal signings, will not be in Parliament for scheduled Nov. 11 questioning.

UPDATE: A new date has been set for the questioning, to be done before Haj.

Iraqi Oil Minister Hussain al-Shahristani is being threatened with a vote of no confidence by a key Member of Parliament after the ministry announced he’ll skip a Nov. 11 questioning.
